The streets of Mersea, Mayflower have been widely known as a hot-spot for criminal activity and gang violence. Recently, however, the town has experienced a significant increase in shootings and recklessness from locals.

On July 18th, multiple citizens reported sightings of gang wars and even activity from the 10th Legion, an armed terrorist organization present within Clark County. Heeding these reports, citizens stood cautious as chaos broke out across the neighborhood. Frequent shootouts between law enforcement officers and groups of armed criminals left roads littered with bodies.

On top of the open-street shootings, another occurred inside of the local bank, Mersea Trust. Police reported that there were three suspects with rifles inside of the bank’s vault. A siege took place upon the building as officers made their way in and neutralized the armed trio, suffering several casualties during the ordeal.

Multiple officers from Mersea Police Department and Mayflower State Police enter Mersea Trust to engage shooters.

It’s unclear whether or not this level of crime will be sustained within the coming days. Mersea residents are advised to remain aware of their surroundings and take shelter if shootings occur. It’s also advised to be on the lookout for any members of the 10th Legion terrorist organization. Police have identified their members as “anyone wearing gray, tactical outfits”.
