After the unfortunate collapse of the Mersea Bridge, residents were forced to use a temporary one instead. Unfortunately, that did not prove to be of much use as multiple vehicles have gotten stuck, leading to the drivers facing possible injury and loss of property.
Fortunately for everyone, the Department of Transporation (DOT) and the Port Authority Tunnel & Bridge Commission (TBC) has already begun construction on the bridge, having already repaired both roads with wood and other sturdy materials, along with some support beams. According to an official DOT worker that was on-scene at the time, construction will probably be completed soon.
