In what Mayflower Public Broadcasting Service declared a historic declaration of sovereignty, Governor Orangebear22 has signed an Executive Order (EO 80402) titled Withdrawal from the United Nations and Rejection of Supranational Authority.”
The Executive Order marks the State of Mayflower’s complete withdrawal from all United Nations affiliations and affirms the state’s rejection of any foreign or supranational governance, after the passage of Senate Resolution 99 by the Fourth Congress.
Executive Order Highlights
According to the Executive Order, effective August 4, 2002, the following measures are immediately enacted:
- Full withdrawal from all participation, recognition, and affiliation with the United Nations and any of its institutions.
- Dissolution or repurposing of all Mayflower-operated UN missions, to be completed within 14 days.
- Termination of all diplomatic cooperation with the UN Secretariat, including correspondence or coordination.
- Nullification of UN treaties and resolutions unless independently ratified by Mayflower’s legislature.
- Abolishment of the Mayflower UN Ambassador post.
Enforcement, Oversight, and Defense
The order places strict oversight responsibilities on the Secretary of State and the Mayflower Bureau of Investigations, who are now tasked with monitoring any violations or unauthorized contact with UN entities. All such violations are to be reported directly to the Governor’s Office.
Additionally, Section 5 of the order reaffirms the State’s inherent right to self-defense, stating:
“Nothing in this Order shall be construed to limit the inherent right of the State of Mayflower to respond to any act of aggression or coercion by any foreign or supranational actor.”
