In just a few hours after the separation from the United Nations by Governor Orangebear22, he takes the next critical step in the states’s “independence” from supranational oversight: the establishment of the Office of the State Intelligence Director via Executive Order 80502.
This establishment comes as part of a shift aimed at replacing policy/infrastructure around the supranational oversight held with United Nations; following the signing of Executive Order 80402, which rejected all UN authority and influence within Mayflower.
A New Security Era Begins
According to Executive Order 80502, the newly formed Office will serve as the Governor’s chief intelligence and coordination body, handling:
- Domestic intelligence collection and analysis
- Security threat response and risk assessment
- Interagency intelligence integration and policy advisory
The order establishes the Office as a Cabinet-level position, reporting directly to the Governor and serving as a replacement for foreign advisory or cooperative intelligence networks that previously relied on international bodies like the UN.
T4K3Nw Appointed as First State Intelligence Director
T4K3Nw was named the first-ever State Intelligence Director, while continuing to serve as Director of the Mayflower Bureau of Investigation.
Governor Orangebear22 commended T4K3Nw for his proven leadership, stating:
“He has earned the respect of his peers, the trust of the people, and the confidence of this administration… As State Intelligence Director, he will shape Mayflower’s strategic security posture during this critical turning point.”
Built to Replace Global Oversight
The Office of the State Intelligence Director has been empowered to fill the void (Intelligence & advisories from UN/partners), centralizing all intelligence operations within Mayflower and ensuring complete independence from foreign influence.
Executive Order 80502 mandates that:
- All departments and agencies must fully cooperate with the Office
- The Director has authority to oversee intelligence activities across all state agencies
- Coordination will now be based on state-specific priorities and internal risk analysis
MPBS Analysis: A Two-Pronged Shift
With back-to-back executive orders, Governor Orangebear22 has a bold two-pronged strategy:
- Political Sovereignty — withdrawing from the UN and refusing supranational interference
- Strategic Autonomy — creating a self-contained intelligence system for defense and preparedness
Together, these decisions mark a significant realignment of Mayflower’s internal and external posture, and position the state as a model of self-governance and internal resilience.
