Earlier this afternoon, Governor AnakinT0ast announced that the State of Mayflower has officially been recognized as a member of the United Nations Security Council. This comes after the successful passage of the state’s resolution submitted through the United Nations General Assembly and the Security Council.
In his announcement, he praised the Department of State, as well as law enforcement personnel who assisted with the protection and security of diplomatic meetings. At this point, the governor has been on a roll. With the passing of multiple vital legislative actions within the past 2 weeks. The governor’s enthusiasm about diplomacy is also obvious, as in the announcement, the governor stated, “Our commitment to diplomacy remains the same: we will put our people first, take action against nations unwilling to respect our sovereignty, and reject foreign interference in Mayflower affairs. “
In his statement, the governor also said, “We will actively propose resolutions, participate meaningfully in debate, and work to maintain stability within the Security Council.” On top of this, he also said that he wishes to host international initiatives, similar to the 2024 International Gala. The governor plans to coordinate with the Department of State to host these initiatives.
At this time, the governor has already made drastic impacts on multiple departments within the State of Mayflower. The impacts are primarily shown in the Department of Justice, where multiple law enforcement personnel and dangerous civilians have recently been held accountable for felony crimes. From his collaboration with the Department of State to the improvements made to the Department of Justice, locals can’t help but wonder what else the governor will do, and how he plans on constantly improving the State of Mayflower, day by day.
